I’ve been repeating the above over and over again as I’ve attempted to prepare this post and hit publish. So much has happened, so much time is passed, and so much is currently going on in the world that cannot be easily wrapped up until one little “first post back from a long hiatus” blog post.
To be honest, I lost my spark a few months ago. I lost my passion for nutrition and I felt like I no longer had a voice worth listening to. In addition, I’ve been struggling with some health issues since the beginning of February which made me want to crawl into a ball and sleep for 6 months or so. I let it all beat me for a while, throwing some downright depressing pity parties, and I did a lot of wallowing.
I’m not completely out of the woods yet but I can say that I’m starting to regain my passion and my spark. I’ve started believing again that I have a voice worth listening to. There is so much misinformation shared on here especially about nutrition and I want to continue to try to be a voice of evidence-based information.
